The idea for the playing cards was dreamt up by marketing whizz Emma Sweet after thinking there's got to be a better way to find the best places in a new place besides online reviews.

Each card is sponsored by that business and can include landmarks, calendar events, shops, restaurants, pubs, coffee shops and tourist attractions. 

Nicola Metcalfe creates beautiful illustrations for each business or landmark and the cards are printed in Amersham, Buckinghamshire by Hartgraph.

The playing cards are a collaborative marketing tool and celebration of towns that welcome lots of visitors each year. Only the best businesses make it into the pack and local residents are proud of the fact their town has it's own playing cards and want to spread the word.
